The Chinese Dancers

Another first attempt at event photography (I have many 1st attempts!), and I love the way the photos turned out. The light sources were whatever was available on site and my camera's built-in flash (and many other photogs' flashes). Being a dance, people might have preferred taking a landscape form. But I preferred close-ups. The colorful costumes and headdresses and expressions were what captivated me.

Location: Raffles City
Equipped with: Canon 350D + Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro with built-in flash
Date: 19 Jan 2006

"I need to built some muscles. The camera, and the lens are heavy!"
